Mickey Owen
Mr. Owen attended Michigan State University and Eastern Michigan University for Instrumental Music Education. In addition, Mr. Owen also holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Phoenix.
Mr. Owen teaches choir, band, theater, musical theater, music theory, composition, elementary music and percussion.
When Mr. Owen is not teaching music, he enjoys quality time with his beautiful family, being active on the water, and enjoying what every season has to offer in beautiful Traverse City.

Julie Terhune
Julie Terhune teaches primary music, band, and special education at Woodland School. Julie has been teaching since 2005. She is a graduate of Miami University (OH) where she received a Bachelor's in Music Education.
Julie taught 2 years in Baraga Area Schools before moving to the Traverse City area and starting her job at Woodland School.
After moving to the area she completed coursework through Ferris State University to obtain her K-12 special education endorsement.
Julie has been teaching at Woodland for 16 years.
Julie and her husband Mitch have 3 children who all attend Woodland.
